Unhappy with the new proposed Farm Acts by PM Modi, AIKSCC Appeals to Kejriwal Govt to Withdraw Notification of Anti-Farmer Mandi Law, to Come Clean on Support to Farmers.

Massive out-pouring of protests in support of farmers through the length and breadth of india against anti–swadeshi, pro-corporate acts of modi govt has been gaining momentum in recent times.

All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee (AIKSCC) has hailed the massive turnout of peoples’ participation all over the country in support of the farmers’ struggle for repeal of the 3 Farm Acts and EB 2020. AIKSCC asserts that this is developing into a national patriotic movement to save the farmers from exploitation from corporates and a government which is hell bent on enforcing attack on their livelihood. No National policy or change that causes harm to its own farmers, more than 50% of the population, can be termed as patriotic. These Acts have a design of corporate control, they are for the corporate profits and have been made by corporate supporters.

National Protest & Uproar

There has been a growing unrest across the borders of the national capital as farmers from the neighbouring states have been staging their protest against the new laws introduced by the current government as the proposed Farm Acts empower the Corporate and MNCs, while eroding the livelihood means of farmers.

According to AIKSCC, PM’s pleading that opportunities for farmers will increase, alternatives will come in, there is nothing barring old system from operating et,. are blatant lies. The Acts clearly mention that trading will be done by private corporations and the crop rates will be decided by online exchanges, not MSP rates, which is the old system. The Corporations were hitherto barred by law from trading. These laws give them opportunities, make them the alternative in dictating terms of farming, purchase, processing, storage and marketing of food.

Standing Up for Farmers’ Rights

AIKSCC has requested the PM to stop pretentious sloganeering that “Annadata Aatmanirbhar Bharat ki Aguai Karega” as his laws and policies are pushing them to “Annadata Companiyon ka Gulam Banega”. AIKSCC has also attacked the 3 farm laws and EB 2020 for promoting black marketing, raising food prices and finishing off PDS and food security for the poor. The association is not happy with the lack of response from the PM and opines he is making mockery of the talks.

The Working Group of AIKSCC has recently appealed to the Delhi AAP government to immediately withdraw its notification of the New Mandi Bypass Act in Delhi and to come clean on whether it is supporting the farmers or the Corporate
