The young stars of the Infant Wing of Delhi Public School, Sector 45, Gurgaon got everyone to re-visit the wonderful world of circus through their annual event

It was a warm, colourful and chirpy day with the Infant Wing of Delhi Public School, Sector 45, Gurgaon spread its wings to celebrate their annual event, 2019 Hip! Hip! Hurray!

In keeping with the spirit of Fit India, it was fun, frolic and sportsmanship all the way. The melodious notes of the school band set the tone for the day’s festivities. Thereafter, a synchronized drill to the song ’Shiksha ka Suraj’ was showcased by Shiksha Kendra students.

The exuberant celebration continued as the Chief Guest, Ms Vineeta Jerath, joined the Director Principal, Ms Aditi Misra, for the traditional release of balloons which symbolized the soaring spirit of the games.

The school grounds wore a riot of colours. The thoroughly entertaining circus parade comprised of a playful circus master, jumping clowns, acrobatic ballerinas, dancing animals and feisty acrobats. The agile taekwondo artists, little gummy bears and hoopla girls delighted the audience with their moves and shakes. The rhythmic drills were followed by fun races for the young athletes who gave it their best. Parents too sprinted to the finish line for their share of limelight.

The Chief Guest, Ms Vineeta Jerath, in her address, lauded the school team and children for putting up a spirited show. Ms Aditi Misra, Director Principal, emphasized on collaborative learning as the most important skill for students of the 21st century. The Headmistress, Ms Rashmi Singh, complimented the children for their vivacity while she delivered the vote of thanks.

All in all, the parents, students and teachers were brought together by this event which was full of joy and revelry.
