New music release by Delhi’s pop rock band
Delhi’s pop-rock sensation, Seasons, recently unveiled its latest single, “Farishta.” The track, a seamless blend of infectious rhythms and heartfelt lyrics, celebrates love’s transformative power. Formed in 2015, Seasons comprises Dhritiman, Teerthankar, Sanidhya, Taara, and Abhishek. “Farishta” is a tribute to unconditional love, resonating with audiences worldwide.
Born amidst the collegiate camaraderie of founding members Dhritiman (lead vocalist) and Teerthankar (backing vocals/lead guitarist) in 2015, Seasons has blossomed into a commanding presence within the tapestry of Indian music, complemented by Sanidhya on keyboards, Taara on drums, and Abhishek on bass.
The narrative behind each of our compositions is as diverse as the melodies themselves, explains Dhritiman. “While our previous release, ‘Teri Nazar,’ embodied the crisp freshness of an early spring morning, ‘Farishta’ encapsulates the essence of late spring and early summer. It’s a composition open to multifaceted interpretations, yet at its core, it reverberates with the essence of love in all its myriad forms.”
Apart from “Farishta,” Seasons’ repertoire includes hits like “Kaise Kahun” and “Jolise Jolibo,” showcasing diverse musical influences. The band is forging connections and fostering unity through the universal language of music, from the bustling streets of Delhi NCR to the serene landscapes of Rishikesh, Udaipur, Dehradun, and Guwahati. With electrifying live performances across India, Seasons continues to captivate audiences.
