The Chief medical officer Gurugram has suggested the city administration declare three areas in the city as the containment zones to curb the rise of cases in the city. The proposed areas include Ridgewood Estate, a large condominium in DLF Phase 4, Chandra Apartment in sector 55, and South Close in sector 50.
The experts are pointing that lack of Covid19 appropriate social protocols during the festive season- events & parties, people letting loose and flouting usage of masks, and lack of social distancing has led to a spur in the number of cases in the city. The wedding season is on the cards, on anonymity, manager of a banquet shares that their place has a heavy booking for the weddings.
Though the doctors say that the severity of the cases is not currently too much concern, have we still not learned our lessons from the past? Going by the previous statistics, we may all invite yet another not so good experience if, as a society, we do not act responsibly to follow all Covid19 protocols.
