Hindi translation of Dr Kiran Bedi’s Book “Fearless Governance” launched
After the release of the Fearless Governance book in English earlier this year, Smita Prakash, Editor of ANI, launched the Hindi Edition of the book. The book offers a practical model of accessible, accountable and people-centric governance. In January 2022, Indra Nooyi and Prof. Debashish Chatterjee released the English version of the book ‘Fearless Governance’.
Dr Kiran Bedi said, “ I see many of the measures listed in the book practised in Delhi by the newly appointed Lt. Governor in daily governance measures. He is directing officers to do the same; it is heartening to witness it. Good governance cannot be without sustained grass root connect.”
Dr Kiran Bedi, the author of the book and a former Lt Governor of Puducherry, will make an illustrative exposition of the good practices she led to be followed. Smita Prakash, Editor ANI, released the book, led the discussion, and moderated the Q and A session.
The book’s publisher, Diamond Books, feels that the book will impact the Hindi reading belt, and the book will be translated into foreign languages. Royalties of the books get donated to India Vision and Navjyoti India Foundation.
On occasion, Smita Prakash said, “Fearless Governance is a new kind of publication style with proof and evidence of Dr Kiran Bedi’s work in Puducherry. ” The book is based on her governance model and experiences while she was posted in Puducherry. Narendra Kumar Verma, Chairman, Diamond Books, said, “This is a historic day, and we are honoured to publish this one-of-a-kind book by Dr Bedi.
